Towan, Newquay

One of the town beaches in Newquay, just around the headland from Fistral, this beach experiences a completely different set of waves to Fistral. Fistral can be quite wild, walk around the corner and Towan is mean and clean.

The beach is the closest to the town centre and is often referred to as "Town Beach". Its closeness to the town and the level access, makes it very busy during the summer. The beach has all facilities close by, parking is in the town.
