how to get there from M5, A361 to Barnstaple, follow signs to Braunton, then Croyde. Map

parking there are 2 major car-parks at Croyde. If you enter Crodye from Braunton, the first car-cark is on the right as you enter the village, it is then a 5 minute walk to the beach. Otherwise drive through the village towards the Ruda Holiday Park area, the other car-park is located there. Each of these car-parks lead you to the beach at its opposit ends. So if you are meeting people make sure you park in the same car-parks. Each car-park is about £3.00 - £5.00 all day.

comments privately owned beach. Although the beach is large, it This beach is quite enclosed so we've never seen any buggy sports there, we wouldn't advise kite sports here due to the beach size. It is better known for its surfing, this is the beach which tends to get the highest waves, out of the 4 adjacent beaches.

Croyde Village has all the usual beach shops, cafes and surf hire. We feel the village has become a victim of its own success, during the summer months all the pubs and restuarants are full. You can't get a table anywhere!
