Westward Ho! is a small seaside town,
Northam Burrows is adjacent
parking at Northam Burrows. £2.50 - £4.00 attended kiosk in summer and holidays. facilities visitor centre and toilets (closed in winter) comments Northam Burrows - great place, doesn't attract big crowds, the burrows totally lack all kinds of commercialism (you may spot an ice cream van on occaisions). Westward Ho! the town is home to cafes, beach shops and amusement arcades. The surfing is not as good as nearby beaches - Croyde, Saunton, Puts, and Woolacombe. Its a great place for landboarding and buggying. Although there are restrictions in the summer where you can board. |
