Uphill how to get here Uphill is situated at one end of the beach at Weston Super Mare. About 10 miles from the M5 (junction 22) parking parking is on the beach, price reduces later in the day, and is free later when the kiosk closes. facilities no info for beach facilities, there are several pubs on the road down to the beach, and a kayak shop comments The beach at Uphill allows wheel based kiting, the local kite club has worked with the local council to get a designated area. Visitors to Uphill will have to get a permit to use the area. Annual permits are available too. The Wind and Wheels club is based in Weston super Mare and is a Para-karting/Kitebuggying, Land Speedsailing, Kite Mountain Boarding & Sail Karting Club. The club and all its members have permission to sail at the Uphill end of the beach at Weston Super Mare. All members must be members of the PKA, BBC or BLSA and have £5 million liability insurance.
