Our newest toy on the block is an ATB deck, with buggy trucks and wheels. We had an old sandboard knocking around (custom built, and we found that our snowboard converted to sandboard flew down the slopes 10 times faster) So what could we do with the sandboard? Hah hah, convert it to an ATB! This was also acheivedby being a 2 buggy family, hence the easy access to 4 buggy wheels. You may need to buy an extra wheel if you intend to cannibalise your buggy to adapt it to a monster ATB.
We got online and found some buggy trucks, ordered them and lo and behold they arrived on our doorstep one morning. Excitedly we got all our nuts and bolts out of the cupboards, and set to work with the workmate and drill. after a short while the sandboard was attached to the trucks and the wheels were attached......the result didn't last long enough to take a photo, but the resultant sandboard is pictured above
Back to the drawing board and telephone, a mate had a scudda deck surpluss to requirements. Much more drilling and the pictures tell the story.
	However it has to be said the end result is a cumbersome board quite difficult to turn and quite heavy to lift. It does work on sand as you don't get to dug into the sand if its too soft or spongy. All in all its abit of a gimick board not for the serious landboarder.
