Paragliding
On a recent trip to the South of Spain we spend a few weeks in the resort of Nerja. Nerja is located to the east of Malaga is generally the coastline is not as built up as it is to the west. We were out enjoying the sunday afternoon sun taking a leisurely stroll along the beach when we can across a bunch of crazy Spaniards taking using a small space and using it to its limits.

You would need to be a very skilled pilot to launch, fly and land in such a confined space with loads of tourists meandering by. These guys had the skill, we watched them take off from either launching themselves from railings or getting others to launch them from ropes.

They soon rose in the sky and floated over the hotel roofs, often landing on the roofs and taking off again.

All we could do is stand in awe as the crazy Spaniards watched us watching them, I'm not sure who was having most fun though. we had packed a 1.4m kite to fly but we kept it in our bag as it felt a little bit inadaquate.
